I'm an Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker based in San Francisco, California. I have a passion for telling the untold stories, and for telling them in a way that lets the viewer into the lives of others in an intimate and view-altering way. My feature-length documentary "Waking Up to Wildfires" was nominated for an Emmy in 2020, and my short doc, A Brush With the Tenderloin, won an Emmy award in June 2013. Before embracing documentary film about seven years ago, I was a print journalist and investigative reporter.
