Brief Intro: I am rendering my services as a journalist for the last 24 years with print and electronic media in Pakistan. My current assignment is with The Independent, a UK based online news website. I started my career as a staff reporter with an Urdu daily Jihad in 1996 and served with almost all the leading dailies in the province both in Urdu and English. I switched to electronic media in 2004 as a Bureau Chief with AVT Khyber (The first satellite Pashto language tv channel) in KP/FATA and during the course of career later on rendered my services with famous Global and national Media giants including BBC, VOA, Geo, SAAMA, CNBC etc. I remained the General Secretary of Peshawar Press Club in 2003 and a runner up candidate for President of the same club. I availed IVLP in 2007 awarded by Government of USA. I have widely travelled to Middle East, West Asia, and North America. I have covered presidential elections held in Afghanistan 2004 and USA in 2016 as well.
