She’s worked as director of photography in projects such as MariPepa, winner of the Academy Award for Cinematographic Arts of Mexico and The Naptime, a documentary feature film that received the support of the Tribeca Film Institute and a special mention at the Belgrade Documentary Film Festival. She directed and photographed Away from Meaning, her first feature film, for which she received the PROYECTA fund from the Ministry of Culture of the State of Jalisco, the Latin America fund from the Tribeca Film Institute and the support of the Grodman Foundation, UDG-USA. Her documentary Away from meaning had been selected to participate in the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Lima Film Festival, the AFI Latin American Film Festival, DocsMX , the Morelia International Film Festival, among others. She was jury for a program of the Ministry of Culture, PECDA, in 2018 and that same year, received the FONCA fund for a project called Retratos, a co-production between Mexico, Spain and USA. Her short film documentary Granny of the Year is part of the official selection at the Guadalajara International Film Festival in its 34th edition. She has developed audiovisual contents for Red Bull TV and The RedBulletin, and currently heads Phonocular, a documentary production and post-production studio.
