The Naankuse Foundation together with Naankuse Films provided full production services for all filming in Namibia. The rescued and rehabilitated animals at the Naankuse Foundation are carefully and humanely wrangled, achieving the director's vision. Our film star caracal was used to show how these amazing animals literally become airborne with every leap.
The episode entitled "Nowhere to Hide" was partly filmed at the Naankuse Foundation in Namibia. Our rescued and rehabilitated animals are humanely used for documentary filming purposes, and our film star caracal was wrangled for the caracal hunting scenarios. She is clear to see in the trailer (link above) leaping into the air to catch the birds.

The Naankuse Foundation provided the main location, a breathtaking 35000 hectare private reserve in southern Namibia. We also carefully and humanely wrangled many rescued and rehabilitated animals including a caracal, cheetahs, a zebra, meerkat and aardvark - all of these animals having been rescued by the Naankuse Foundation itself.
