Marta is a journalist with a decade of experience, a published author, and an educator. Currently based in New York, works as the US Broadcast Correspondent for TVI, Portugal's leading news network. Besides reporting live from the field, Dhanis researches, produces, reports, writes, narrates, and edits every story. Major stories have included the Papal visit, US-Cuba thaw, Presidential elections, and topics ranging from the economy to climate change. She has interviewed high-level personalities such as Hillary Clinton, Meredith Vieira, and Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Dhanis has also launched an investigative journalism book on the Renato Seabra murder case in NY, which made headlines worldwide. Previously, she has also worked as a Freelance Writer at Emerging Money, covering emerging markets, in particular Latin America.
