Michael Fox is a multimedia journalist and filmmaker, with over a decade of experience, and a passion for telling engaging stories. He’s reported from across the Americas, and now resides in Brazil, where he’s covered social movements, biofuels, development, the ongoing political crisis, and the election of president Jair Bolsonaro. He is the former head of video production at teleSUR English, where he oversaw the creation of hundreds of videos for social media. He’s the director, editor, and shooter of two feature-length documentaries and has worked as a producer, videographer, video editor, translator, fixer, tape syncer and audio engineer for breaking news, short and long packages, and radio. He is also the former editor of the NACLA Report on the Americas. His work has appeared on teleSUR, AJ+, The Real News, The Intercept, DW, TRT World, NPR, FSRN and other outlets.
