Kia ora, my name is Alexander Robertson and I’m the man you want on your team. I’m your one stop shop, video journalist extraordinaire. I produce all my own videos from start to finish, researching, planning, shooting, editing and of course I can take engaging photos. For the last two years I’ve been an integral part of RNZ (New Zealand’s public broadcaster) where I was a key member in the launch of NZ's first radio simulcast, responsible for the visual studio production, field logistics, live streaming, staff training and building its video presence. And more recently in New York, I’ve been freelancing for BRIC TV, marketing companies and television commercials. I am experienced in a number of visual storytelling techniques including video features, breaking news, docos, live streaming, studio broadcast, live music videos, corporate video, photojournalism and drone videography.
