I have been in the film and tv industry for the past 37 years as cameraman / DOP / Director / Editor and Producer, working mainly on documentaries. I have worked in 48 countries internationally, with the bulk of my work on the African continent. I have filmed two Himalayan mountaineering expeditions as well as the first expedition to navigate the Amazon River from source to sea. Local documentaries include "The Place of the Elephant", "Namaqualand - A gift from the gods", "The African Game" - a six x half hour series, "Flight to Freedom" on the aerial translocation of elephants from Botswana to Angola and "Ghosts of the Miombo" - the search for Angola's famed Giant Sable antelope. In 2013 I was the sole cameraman on "Voetspore", shooting 13 x 1 hour episodes of an expedition crossing Africa on the Equator.
