Syria’s Last Bastion of Freedom
Amid the brutal civil war, a Syrian town in the north called Saraqib fought off the regime and the fundamentalists—and dared to hold an election. Osama al-Hossein, who is the main character of this story, was the organizer of the local elections. Osama was arrested by Assad regime in the beginning of revolution and then was kidnapped by extremists. He struggled until his dream has come true.
