The Scrap Came back is an upcycling store in Winnipeg, Manitoba which employs people with intellectual disabilities. It was a real honour to tell the story of the people who help change lives every day in Winnipeg.

May 31, 2014: The Dufresne Group, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers invited 23 children to a sleepover event at Investors Group Stadium. It was a dream come true weekend that featured playing on the field, meeting a couple of the players, watching Bomber practice and a late night movie on the big screens at the stadium. At the end, the kids got to keep the beds they slept on.

Spring, 2015: commissioned by CBC Manitoba to produce a video in conjunction with poet Katherena Vermette, focusing onWinnipeg's north end, one of the most economically depressed and violent neighbourhoods in Canada. During our journey through the north end we met some of the most wonderful and warm people, dispelling many of our preconceptions of the people who call the place home.
