ASIAN AMERICANS DECIDE is a 30 min documentary about the 2020 US election (focusing on the Asian vote in Texas) I developed, reported (on camera), produced, directed, scripted, and oversaw post for Dateline on SBS (a major network in Australia). As a staff producer for CNN Heroes, I found, vetted, directed filming under water, produced, interviewed, scripted, all editing decisions of profile about ken Nedimyer, who grows corals in Florida, in effort to save coral reefs. This piece was one of first to record audio under water.
As part of New York City's celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, THAT'S SO DOPE, HIP HOP BEYOND MUSIC is a 30 min documentary, and a series of short pieces, that premiered in 2023. The series and doc explores Hip Hop's influence on culture, from fashion to bling by spotlighting Hip Hop trailblazers, including fashion icon Dapper Dan.
