I am an independent journalist with 20 years of experience in international media. I am also an advisor to politicians in the Middle East & Africa. For 3 years I hosted my own political salon in Beirut in partnership with The Konrad Adenauer Foundation. I am a former contracted consultant with the United Nations Counter Terrorism Unit, where I trained victims of terrorism on communication in the Middle East and Africa. I am also the former CEO Advisor in Media & Communication at the Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA). In 2014, I founded The Solace Foundation, a Lebanese NGO working on emergency response and sustainable development projects related to Syrian and Iraqi refugees in Lebanon. The NGO was supported by the US Embassy in Beirut, the European Union and worked closely with the UNHCR and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
