He became known as one of the founders of the Sudanese Photographers Group in Khartoum in 2009 and through international exhibitions of his photographs, as well as for networking and training for photographers in Africa. With more than 13 years of hands-on experience, Ala Kheir continues to produce visual content for major documentary and news agencies around the world. As well as most humanitarian agencies operating in Sudan. Ala Kheir is a: World Press Photo Regional Jury member, 2022.
