CHILLIDA ESKU HUTZ
At the age of 19, Eduardo Chillida, one of the most eminent 20th century sculptors, was a gifted athlete set to become a football legend. However, a severe injury during a match saw him move away from professional sport. Chillida would die a few decades later as one of the most prominent sculptors of the world. The Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan in New York; the Tate Britain in London; the Kunsthalle Basel in Switzerland, the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin… All of them collect his sculptures.
