About

My company, Harken Productions, has been around since 1997 producing social issue oriented videos and running a youth media program since 2002. My first film Death: A Love Story premiered in documentary competition at Sundance in 1999, won several festivals, played national PBS, and is now available in over 400 colleges and universities here and in Canada. I now produce shorts, video for business websites, civically engaged media with youth, and for all who want to engage in critical and civic engagement. I also teach in the Film Media department of U. of Rhode Island. Would love to work with you!
