“Will to Win” is a multimedia project that tells the stories of thirteen Lithuanian Paralympic athletes through their training sessions, which were documented right before the Rio De Janeiro Paralympic games.
This is a short story about Oleg Timofejevich Odnolko, who spends a lot of time in Taiga (Evenkia region, central Russia) woods to hunt there. Hunting in the remote Taiga has become less profitable and much more difficult than it was some time ago. But all hard challenges that make others to step away do not scare him. He belongs here, and he is not going to change his way of living.
Chanting loudly, the fisherman drag their boats to the shore, as above the birds circle in hope of scavenging some fresh fish. Dolphins can be seen at play in the waves off in the distance, but here closer to the shore it is a surfer that takes center stage. This scene is simply a natural part of a larger picture, and that India offers one of the most unique surfing spots on the planet.
A 17-year-old swimmer Edgaras Matakas dives into complete darkness. Edgaras has not been able to see since he was 15 years old.
