Over time, I have been intentionally varied in my photography; creating a library of images held in a wide-ranging portfolio. Everyday there is something or someone that calls to the camera. I see my camera as a tool to see the world I live in. I have photographed sporting events to include softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and most recently rugby. I have photographed corporate events, community events and conferences. I have photographed an intimate wedding, capturing wedding details and emotional stills. I have provided portraits for high school graduating seniors of 50+ students. I have photographed local fashion show, providing coverage over a four-day period. I have also done portraiture, personal and business branding, creating images showcasing an active lifestyle or brand-conscious content.
Dads from across the Washington, DC metro converged at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial to celebrate fatherhood. Their purpose? To change the way the world views Black fatherhood and help defy the stereotype. Sean Williams, Founder, credits the support received from other dads in allowing him to become a better dad. Camp Embers, the brain-child of Fire Chief Tiffany Green, held its inaugural summer camp. The 2-day camp was open to girls aged 14-18 residing in Prince George's County Maryland or having a family member who themselves is a fire fighter. For its first year, the camp welcomed 30 girls that were ready for the challenge.
The Washington Prodigy held its 2nd annual Got Her Back football camp. Twelve cities nationwide hosted free football camps to create opportunities for girls in football. Girls, ages 6 - 18, who are interested in tackle and/or flag football showed up to Benjamin Banneker High School to participate in combine and skill drills and competitive sessions put on by the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC).
