Diverse and Subversive: the Anti-Gentrification of Boyle Heights

For 3 years we filmed with radical anti-Gentrification protesters in the predominately hispanic neighborhood of Boyle Heights in Los Angeles as they used black bloc-style tactics to fight back against encroaching artwashing wave of Art Galleries and Coffeeshops. Premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2019.
