A literature graduate, I'm also an outdoors passionate with production experience in extreme environments of both hemispheres. As a filmmaker, I focus entirely on non-fiction films, with at the heart of my creative vision the pursuit of subjects matters usually quite remote from my natural fields of interest or my own hobbies. This way, I can explore the intricacies of a given topic with less biais and a rather spontaneous form of curiosity, and discover my subjects and characters in the same way that a profane audience might. After a few years of institutional documentary projects, I'm about to release his first feature documentary film, "Big Water Theory", following the first descent by a female kayaker of one of the hardest river section on the planet, the Rondu Gorge of the Indus in Pakistan. The Mysteries of the Colombian Amazon — Rolex Perpetual Planet (Colombia)
With the support of the Perpetual Planet Initiative, an expedition led by Rolex Awards for Enterprise Laureate Francesco Sauro to unexplored caves deep in the Colombian Amazon has yielded remarkable discoveries and helped forge profound cross-cultural bonds. => I documented and shot a 2-week science expedition in a remote part of the Colombian Amazon in full autonomy. => We also fixed, planned and organized the whole expedition in difficult terrain with a crew of indigenous guides.
