My name is Marc Newsome. I am a Houston based filmmaker whose specialty is short form documentaries for the web. I have earned producer credits on documentaries. The most notable is 'Electric Purgatory, Fate of the Black Rocker' which chronicles the peaks and hardships of black musicians who play rock music. I would like to hunt for the compelling human stories. The most interesting people I have encountered have existed off camera regardless of ethnicity. I'm pretty open since I exist in different genres of life. My main focus would be those stories which are off the usual path of societal acceptance. I prefer to show people things they wouldn't expect.
