About

I'm a narrative journalist who works across print and video, and enjoys investigative work. I love all kinds of stories, really, but seem to gravitate towards issues surrounding the effects of poverty on young women and girls, environmental justice, music and culture. I graduated from the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program in February 2013, and interned at The New York Times Video Unit. I recently completed a 15-minute documentary called Piano Rites with a grant from the Emmy Foundation, which premiered at Doc NYC. I read sanskrit and anthropology for my undergraduate degree.
