About
Throughout my 20-year career as a photojournalist, I have contributed my skills as a visual storyteller to international news agencies, publications and NGOs, as well as created and led projects in collaboration with photographers across the Americas. I also have experience developing multimedia products which advance an organization’s mission by creating or curating stories that accurately portray relevant issues, as I have done for the Inter-American Development Bank and the Human Civil Rights Commission.
I would be eager to add my experience and skills to your project. Please consider the following highlights of my qualifications:
· Developed multimedia pieces and photo essays on: the effects of global warming on the indigenous communities of the Amazonian river basin; the life of communities in one of the most polluted places in the world, Old Fadama, Ghana; and a series of stories on the immediate aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.
· Created Pictoris, a non-profit collective formed by a network of Latin American
photographers portraying the issues that affect marginalized groups across the continent.
· Published widely in national and international publications, and experience working with international news agencies such as Getty Images, Reuters and Asablanca.
It would be great to meet you, and learn more about your goals for the work.
