UNC ROI – Harvesting Clean Energy

“Harvesting Clean Energy” is an Emmy-winning story about “pickle power” – a collaborative partnership to generate electricity from pickle wastewater. The endeavor brings together Mt. Olive Pickle Company, North Carolina State University, East Carolina State University, and UNC Chapel Hill to explore salinity gradient energy as an inexhaustible clean energy resource.
