MANUEL ALCALÁ Manuel Alcalá holds a BA in Cinema & Television from Boston University and attended the Media Design Program at Art Center College of Design. His professional career has been focused on cultural production and promotion; redefining Mexico City’s engagement to cinema in early 2004. He is the producer of the documentary entitled Bellas de noche, and he is the director of Red privada, an interactive documentary on the murder of columnist Manuel Buendía and the Mexican political and social scene of the 1980s.
