We Are Not Done Yet

“We Are Not Done Yet” is a creative journey of ten U.S. veterans of varied backgrounds who come together in hopes of battling their traumatic military pasts through the art of written word. Grappling with PTSD, the “warrior poets” share fears, vulnerabilities, and victories that, eventually culminate into a live performance of a collaborative poem under the direction of actor Jeffrey Wright. In the process of creating their poetry and rehearsing for the performance, these men and women build a new-found tribe in one another, allowing them to share the too often hidden truths about their intimacy with war, death, and trauma.

I was the Producer of video coverage for this event - organizing and managing a team of 60 (including 12 cameras), location permitting and camera positions, all logistics, gear, scheduling and budgeting.

"Come Back to Sudan" - Rocky Mountain PBS

Producer and Co-Director of “Come Back to Sudan”, a documentary about a group of Colorado Sudanese refugee “Lost Boys” who returned to their homeland in Southern Sudan to reunite with their families. Developed story and contacts, managed travel and filming logistics, interviews, recorded field audio, co-wrote script. Marketed the film extensively through festivals and educational programs.

Inside Cocaine Wars - National Geographic Channel

Production Manager for this 4-episode series filmed in Colombia and the Dominican Republic for National Geographic Channel. Hired and managed crew, coordinated gear, logistics, determined scheduling, and created and managed budgets for production. Researched story lines and characters.
