Request a demoDeanna is a national award-winning videographer, producer and editor based in Washington, D.C. She believes the best stories are told visually, with passion and care. She is also the video and multimedia producer for Education Week. She oversees all video projects from production to editing and conceptualizes, develops, and produces multimedia and interactive Web presentations for edweek.org. Her work has been featured on the PBS NewsHour and in HuffPost Education. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2014 with a degree in journalism and French with concentrations in online media and public policy. Deanna joined The Statesman, SBU’s official campus newspaper, as a contributing writer the fall of her freshman year. She spent her senior year as Editor-in-Chief of the organization. Deanna has interned at the Council on Foreign Relations, Scripps Howard Foundation and Times Beacon Record Newspapers.
