About

I am an expeditionary multi-media producer for news, commercial, government and non-profit organizations. I often do one-man-band hybrid projects where I produce, shoot and edit finished content for clients. Run-and-gun, studio chroma, aerial footage (FAA 107 licensed), I do it all with a strong visual sense derived from years of photography. I also provide animated graphics as often required by my data-heavy client projects. Funding agencies for my work include: Rockefeller Family Foundation, Chevron, FEMA, and USAID. Featured on the Discovery and Al Jazeera and has been recognized by the BBC for innovation. I love the challenge of international assignments and meeting new people. While I prefer to be over-prepared for any job, I also enjoy traveling light - high production quality video, stills, audio, and aerial with carry-on luggage. My bags are packed, and I'm ready to fly on short notice to cover stories around the world. Based in Hawaii, I can get to anywhere in the Pacific region quickly.
