I am a filmmaker with a desire to make films that open people's minds to situations that they are not familiar with. Namely, the plight of our young black men. Being a mentor and youth minister, I also have a sincere passion to help our young people find their way. I have been a mentor since I was in high school myself; it seemed like all the young people from complicated homes would flock to me. I have over 20 young black males that I mentor currently, with seven being incarcerated. I have a desire to make films that both haunt people and inspire them to do what they can to make someone else's situation a little easier..
