Despite the stench, Roberto da Silva navigates these waters six days a week on a makeshift boat, collecting plastic bottles to sell to a nearby recycling center.

"Elas do Metrô" is a social project that aims to celebrate the diversity of women working in the metro (subway) transportation. The project includes inspiring stories about their lives and careers. The aim is to highlight the strength and resilience of these women, as well as promote gender equality and inclusion in the workplace. The project has been supported by various organizations and companies and has been displayed in various locations, including subway stations, art galleries, and cultural centers.
