The Story of Greenwood Cemetery
Working with Producer-Director LaCreshia Griffin-Pope to tell the story of valuing our history through honoring our past ancestors. The film explores the case of Greenwood Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. This historic black cemetery faces neglect. The Greenwood Preservation Society members fight together with the help of Americorp and volunteers in the community to restore and preserve black culture and history through the caretaking of the cemetery.
