Jennifer Molina, was most a documentary producer for Entertainment Tonight and EdSource. Previous to that she was director of video for LA Times Studio at Tronc (formally Tribune Publishing) executive producing vertical video series for the LA Times Studio and advising on strategy for video content and programming within the tronc digital markets, which include,The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore Sun, The New York Daily News and five more major US markets. Molina is an Emmy-award winning filmmaker and producer of documentary films such as Uniform Betrayal: Rape in the Military and life @ the end: caring in the face of loss, Prior to tronc, Molina was executive producer and content strategist for Wochit Productions, where she lead Wochit's team of content creators in the production of 400+ videos a day with an emphasis on journalistic storytelling. Previous to Wochit, Molina was executive producer at Tribune Publishing Video in Chicago and executive director and editor at HealthyState.org, a digital public media (NPR/PBS funded by CPB) project covering health in the state of Florida. She also served as senior video producer at Newsweek.com where she produced and edited stories on topical, socio-political, cultural and medical issues, and at the United Nations in Rome, Italy, where she produced and edited promotional videos and developed websites for UN-affiliated programs. Molina remains active in the film industry, conducting international workshops and serving as an adjunct at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is currently producing Rumberas y Vedettes; a film that tells the story of Cuban women who danced their way to stardom in cabaret and Mexican cinema during the 1940s and 50s. www.rumberasyvedettes.com.
