He has traveled in the back of a Fedex cargo plane with a pair of giant pandas en route from Beijing to the Memphis Zoo, walked with amateur athletes as they endured the blazing heat of the Gobi Desert, and experienced sub-arctic temperatures while touring Canada’s Oil Sands facilities. His wide ranging work includes an investigation of Aids in Africa, an examination of Chinese immigration to the United States, and a look at the treatment of Thailand’s domestic elephants. His programs garner industry awards including several Cine’ Golden Eagles, the US Humane Society’s Genesis Award, and a National Emmy nomination.
