About

His works as a fiction and documentary cinematographer, where he mixes film and digital, have been screened at different festivals around the world (Berlinale, Visions du Reel, Guadalajara Film Festival, among others). He has given workshops on "Digital Cinematography" for the Cinema Training Program offered by the Ministry of Culture of Cusco. His feature films as a cinematographer, Rojo Profundo (Dir. Maga Zevallos, 2019, Peru), Viaje (Dir. José Fernández del Rio, 2018, Peru), Niño Probeta (Dir. Carolina Hernández, 2022, Ecuador) and Punku (Dir. Juan Daniel F. Molero, 2020, Peru) are in post-production, soon to be released. As a director, he has been developing the short films Glaciar and Ordezo 92, winners of Dafo Peru production funds for their production. At the same time, he is co-founder of the alternative cinema QINE, located in the city of Cusco-Peru. Bachelor of Advertising from UCSM, has studied cinematography at the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV). He was also awarded a scholarship by the Canadian government within the framework of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program, to be a visiting researcher at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Canada.
