I'm a multimedia journalist with extensive experience in broadcast journalism and backpack video journalism. I currently teach multimedia reporting to students at Northwestern University in Qatar. I have reported for major news organizations around the globe, including E News in Johannesburg, Time.com, KVRR-TV in Fargo as their congressional correspondent in D.C., and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. My videos have also appeared on CNN and Euronews. I am based in Doha, Qatar, but am available for projects anywhere in the Gulf or Middle East. I also speak Ukrainian fluently and I am currently working on a documentary that takes place in the Crimean Peninsula. Topics I am interested in covering include human rights, women's rights and gender issues, or anything to do with the Middle East and Eurasia (politics, economics, social issues, entertainment).
