Request QuoteLucas Costanzi is Brazilian, director of the documentary Teatro das Sombras (2022) Bellatrix (2019) and Tormenta (2015) and director of a series of reports for TV called Conexão 360º. He owns the production company Sabujo Filmes, the company works on institutional documentaries for several clients. Lucas has a degree in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University. He specializes in documentary at ESEC-École supérieure d'études cinématographique, in Paris.
The 52 minutes-long documentary brings to screen a unique point of view, which is based on the life of Brazilian artist Vera Tormenta Goulart. Besides her career, the film navigates through social themes which are object of her work. The documentary takes us on a trip to post-war Paris, to then bring us back to bohemian Rio of the 50s, where Veraled a successful career until she decided to retreat
Porto Alegre wants to end the profession known as "carrocheiro'. They are poor living in slums scattered throughout the city. Their job is to collect trash for recycling sheds. On the other hand we have a graffiti artist who also has his work marginalized, but has been gaining space in museums around the world. The idea is to show the graffiti artist by reforming the carts with his art to support.
