SUNDA SRAIT TSUNAMI EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Tsunami that hit Sunda Straits, on December 22nd, 2018 affected Pandeglang, Lampung Selatan and Serang District. According to National Disaster Agency of Indonesia (BNPB), stated, the victims of disaster are 437 people death, injured 1459 persons, and missing 154 persons. IDP’s that scattered in the area of Pandeglang, Serang and Lampung Selatan District. Most of IDPs are in tsunami affected areas of Pandeglang District. Not only human, the disaster also causes damaged on building. Pandeglang is the area most severely affected by the tsunami. On Dec 24th 2018.KUN Humanity System + deploy one team to do medical responses and asses the situation directly to Pandeglang as is the area most severely affected by the tsunami. KUN decided to do intervention for medical response in Cimanggu and Sumur Subdistrict due to lack of response from other organization and have significant impacted area. Medical field post build around Cimanggu because the safe distance from the coastal line. Since in the beginning of response, Coordination with government and stakeholders have been established. KUN conducting joint operation with Puskesmas Cimanggu for mobile clinic and medical supplies. Since 24th December 2018 until 8th January 2019, KUN treat 540 Patients (132 Male, 202 emale, 58 children and 2 Pregnant women). In this response KUN supported by International Medical Corps and Atlas Medical Pioneer Medical Faculty Padjadjaran University
