Now based in Los Angeles, he is currently working on the feature-length documentary “God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines.” Kristian’s other high-profile accomplishments include: short film “Electric Roots,” which he produced, directed and showcased at numerous film festivals around the world; “Postcards: Mandela,” an Africa Channel special feature that he also produced, directed and starred in, which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award; and an integral role in the critically acclaimed documentary & TV mini-series “Icons Among Us: Jazz In The Present Tense,” praised by the American Film Institute as an example of “filmmaking excellence” in 2010.
