He focuses on contemporary social and environmental themes as the world struggles to find a high energy, low carbon alternative to maintain a sustainable lifestyle. A regular contributor to The New York Times and Dagens Nyheter, his pictures and stories have also appeared in outlets as such as National Geographic, Le Monde, Der Spiegel , The Associated Press, Bloomberg News. His company Hilaea Media is currently based in Rio de Janeiro but covers other countries and regions as stories require.
