I am bilingual in English and German, with dual citizenship and a journalistic VISA permitting me to work in the USA. I was born in South Africa, raised in London, have 2 BA(Hons) in film studies sand film production and work out of Frankfurt Germany. I have experience shooting in well over 50 countries, on all continents of the world. Apart from my camera work, I am a film tutor at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and have worked as a Keynote Speaker for Canon Europe. Our work for the BNI Foundation has helped raise millions for the education of children worldwide. One of these videos alone helped raise more than 20,000 Euros for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan’s in Malaysia. This proves how effective video can be with such relief efforts. Another film raised over 12,000 Euros for Tareto Maa, a project in Africa to combat genital mutilation. For these efforts I was awarded the 2019 Moneygram Migrant Entrepreneur Award for Social Responsibility.

Our dependency on fossil fuel has created a threat to public health, but there are individuals & communities around the globe taking action to solve the climate crisis. In 1998 the Danish government set out to prove that cutting carbon emissions by 21% was not only possible but practical. What happened next is a remarkable story of a community coming together and creating far reaching change.
FTD is a prevention program, focusing its efforts on ethnic hill tribe girls in Northern Thailand who are at-risk of being trafficked due to extreme poverty, lack of legal status, being orphaned or having parents in jail. FTD focuses its efforts on the most vulnerable girls in Northern Thailand and provides shelter support and education through college and beyond.
In 2001 Milagros Iglesias and Pascal Mendy take a flight from Germany to Gambia, carrying suitcases full of old glasses. Later they found the organization RIGHT TO SEE. Its aim is to fight ametropia and provide treatment for eye diseases that many can't afford in Gambia. With the aid of donated glasses and support from Germany they offer optical care, even to the poor.
