I enjoy weaving photos, videos, and text into complex and engaging narratives. I worked across North America, from Halifax to Tijuana, as a freelance journalist, newspaper photographer and multimedia producer. The intersection of science and film particularly interests me. I have eagerly sought out multimedia projects spanning health, science and environmental subjects, using expert voices and personal stories. In 2013 I completed coursework toward a masters degree in photojournalism from Ohio University's School of Visual Communication. In May 2014, my video "Sweet Time" won 1st place in the National Press Photographers Association Montly Multimedia Contest.
