I'm an aspiring documentary filmmaker interested in telling people's unique stories. I would like to focus on creating more personal side project that relate to documentary films, short or long form. I believe it is an important tool to educate others, help us be more connected and to inspire. I'm applying through POV to pitch under the American Promise assignment. I'm interested in topics that relate to social issues, LGBT rights, animal rights, and inspiring stories in general.
