Andoni Lubaki (1983) is a video/ photojournalist based between Africa and the Basque Country (Bilbao).Photos). Nowadays he is working as a freelance video/photojournalist and has covered conflicts and social unrest around the world. He also has worked for TV, DW (Germany), NGOs (Mundubat) and his photographs have been published in national and international newspapers and magazines such as Newsweek, International Herald Tribune, Washington Post, The Guardian and New York Times among others. In video he is usually assigned in TV channels like ETB and VICE news. He has been awarded several times with international awards like Breaking News POYi (Picture of the Year) in 2014, Chris Hondros Memorial Award, Atlanta Photojournalist Best in Show Award. His documentary "Forgotten Sand" has been exhibited around the world in more than 27 film festival and has win 4 awards (the BecDos Award and the International Documentary Film Festival of Barcelona among other).
