J. S. Wolfe is a bestselling author, filmmaker, and established, senior editor with over 25 years of corporate and creative writing. As an author, she is particularly interested in human behavior and true crime. She spent 20 years researching criminal and sub-criminal psychopaths, narcissists, and other disordered personalities by visiting inmates on death row in California, and various mental institutions, as well those free among us. Being a crime survivor herself, her work’s intention is to help save others from those engaging in modern-day dehumanization. Her vast knowledge of behavioral science greatly contributes to her work that enables her to bring value to her readers and clients.
Her book, The Unfolding: A Journey of Involution, made the best-seller list at the esteemed El Shorouk Bookstore within the first week of publication, followed by Virgin Megastore and Osana Family Wellness.
She founded Involution Publishing based in Honolulu, Hawaii, through which she offers author services including editing, proofreading, typesetting, translation, and publishing. Involution Publishing also offers corporate writing services, including press releases, presentations, project pitches, Website content, brochures, and PR Press Kits.
Her network is vast, as she has worked with a wide variety of professionals and celebrities of the highest caliber in the US, Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
She graduated from UCLA film school, and worked with several esteemed artists in the film industry; Cornelia and Martin Bregman (Scarface), Vincent Vieluf (Rat Race), coached Khaled Elsawy for Blue Elephant, Eyad Nassar for Moga Harra, and Afrah El Qobba among others when she founded Flying Masks Agency in 2010 for International Talent Representation.
Her articles were published in The Village Voice, The New Yorker, and Digital Americana Magazine. She wrote creative press releases for international fine artists such as Susana Rodriguez (Argentina), John Silver (NYC), and Miki (Japan) during her work at 48th Avenue Art Gallery in Manhattan thanks to curator Mr. Alejandro Beitler.
As a renowned performing arts and meditation coach, she worked with esteemed TV presenters, including Amro Al Kahky (Al Nahar), Ahmed Fayek (Misr Tastatee3) among others, and appeared on Sahibet El Sa3ada with Ms. Essaad Younis along with actress Rania Youssef in an episode dedicated to the use of Meditation in coaching actors. Her first high-profile Meditation client was Brannon Bragha, writer and producer of Star Trek during her studies at UCLA.
She worked as a script reader for Gross-Weston Productions and was a PR assistant at Levine Communications, where she helped organize Bob Hope events, including The Bob Hope star on the Hall of Fame, and his Book Soup in Hollywood to commemorate his work.
