"I have been working as a video journalist in the field of journalism for 10 years. My specialty is telling stories through my camera, and I really enjoy editing my material. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with media such as Reuters, AP, Telesur, Telecinco from Spain (Mediaset), France 24, Al Mayadeen, among others. During my career, I have traveled to more than 15 countries to cover news; also, my team and I participated in the Seville film festival in 2024 with the documentary "Resolver en Venezuela" and we won best documentary and direction. Leonardo was born in Venezuela in November 1985 and studied at the Experimental University of the Arts, where he graduated in the degree of Audiovisual Arts in Cinematography. He is a photojournalist and filmmaker freelance in Caracas collaborating with News Agencies such as The Associated Press, Reuters and Getty Images or for the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF. He has managed to register under his lens a great variety of events, some of which include the social and political turmoil of 2016 and 2017, while developing stories of cultural, religious manifestations, scientific campaigns and the social deterioration of the Venezuelan crisis. In 2014, he made an exclusive documentary series for Argentina and Venezuela recording the work of Venezuelan Scientists in different parts of the country for 1 year. The Series obtained the recognition throughout Latin America in the network of public television stations in the region. My works have been published for THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, THOMSON REUTERS, BBC, RT, AJ, Deutscher W etterdienst, Xinhua News Agency, UNICEF, ConCiencia Tv (Venezuela), TECtv (Argentina), Non-profit governmental organizations of Venezuela, some companies in the areas: sports, health, tourism, corporate and various INDEPENDENT projects.
