Kat Robinson is a food historian and travel writer based in Little Rock. She is the author of Another Slice of Arkansas Pie: A Guide to the Best Restaurants, Bakeries, Truck Stops and Food Trucks for Delectable Slices in The Natural State. She is also the author of three previous travel dining guides: Arkansas Pie: A Delicious Slice of the Natural State (2012), Classic Eateries of the Ozarks and Arkansas River Valley (2013) and Classic Eateries of the Arkansas Delta (2014). She is the host of the Arkansas Educational Television Network program Make Room For Pie: A Delicious Slice of The Natural State, a committee member of the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame and the Arkansas fellow to the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, as well as the 2011 Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism Henry Award winner for Media Support. Her work appears in regional and national publications including Food Network, Forbes Travel Guide, Serious Eats, AAA Magazines and AY Magazine, among others. Photographer and documentarian Ben Powell’s assignments as a cinematographer have taken him to communities around the world, while his documentary films as a director have focused on landscapes near and dear. His adopted home state of Texas and the obsessive characters (and celebrities) that collect its historical treasures play a central role in “Phil Collins and the Wild Frontier,” which premiered at the 2013 New Orleans Film Festival. His first feature documentary, BARGE, focuses on the culture of towboat workers not far from his home town of Cleveland, Mississippi and premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival, going on to win Best Documentary Feature prizes at Indie Memphis and the Dallas International Film Festival. Powell has received received artist grants from the Austin Film Society and the Garrett Scott Documentary Development Grant, and holds a BFA in Film, Animation, and Video from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Filmmaker Ben Powell aims to tell stories with humility and heart. He is a director and producer whose work has taken him a top mountains in Alaska, aboard barges down the Mississippi, and through Tokyo’s winding streets. I'm Kip Cole and I've been in television and video production for almost 30 years. I started out in news production then moved into the realm of public television where I've produced award-winning documentaries. I was also the producer for "Southern Routes," a magazine-style program featuring short segments on interesting people, places and things to do. I love finding a fascinating, unknown story and developing it into an entertaining and informative piece of video. I enjoy all kinds of stories, but seem to be drawn to the categories of human interest, history, cultural events, civil rights and travel. I started my own production company, Pale Moon Media, four years ago. Since then I've worked on numerous projects, both short and long form. My strengths are writing, producing and the ability to tell an interesting story in a brief amount of time. I enjoy working as part of a team, but also excel as a "one-man band.' I've had extensive technical experience in the areas of computer graphics, videography and video editing. I look forward to the opportunity to become a part of the Storyhunter team.

I am a documentary filmmaker and photographer with international and domestic experience. Most recently I was a Lewis Hine Documentary Fellow in residence for ten months at the United Teen Equality Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, making a series of short documentaries about gang-involved youth working to transform their lives, and the youth workers dedicating their lives to ending violence. I have worked for a variety of organizations domestically and abroad, including a feature-length documentary shot in Liberia (in post-production). I am most interested in storytelling that challenges mainstream perceptions of underrepresented communities, and highlights the work of inspiring organizations and individuals. I also have interests in criminal justice, global health, environmental sustainability, food systems, and wildlife.
