Ana P. Santos is an independent journalist based in Manila, Philippines. Her work focuses mainly on HIV/AIDS and reproductive health, gender issues, and the inequalities that arise from being the only country in the world that forbids divorce. As the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting's 2014 Persephone Miel fellow, Ana wrote about the hundreds of thousands of Filipino women who leave their children behind to work abroad as nannies and domestic workers. Noel Guevara is a conservation photographer, filmmaker, producer, and National Geographic Explorer based in Manila, Philippines. He is also an Emerging League Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP) and Summit Fellow at the 2022 Jackson Wild Media Festival. Noel focuses on the Asia-Pacific region but specializes in stories from the Philippine seas. He covers ocean conservation, climate change, single-use plastic issues, and the complex relationships of coastal and urban communities with the sea. His experience in producing content and creating visual stories spans more than 18 years, from founding his design firm, Burnwater Design Studios in 1998 to directing TV commercials and documentaries. I'm an energetic millennial who loves to explore unique and thought-provoking stories that capture human interest and evoke impact to our global society. Prior to my freelance career in visual storytelling, I spent more than 2 years as a researcher and field producer for I-Witness, the Philippines' longest-running and most awarded documentary programme on television. It's a two-time recipient of the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award. Working for this programme enriched my capacity to investigate and develop narratives that move the audience. I have had more than three years of work experience in the field of public affairs documentary production under the mentorship of the two most distinguished journalists in the country: Ms. Cecilia “Cheche” L. Lazaro and Mr. Howie G. Severino. Apart from television production, I have also gained experience in freelance visual media production and filmmaking where I work with non-government organizations and private companies for PR and educational/training audio-visual presentations and advocacy productions. At present, I am challenging myself to move further in this field of documentary and broadcast journalism by exposing myself to different contents, scenarios, and life stories to develop an ambitious personal project.

Martin San Diego is an independent documentary photographer from the Philippines. He is a multiple grantee of the National Geographic Society, a Diversify Photo member, an alumnus of the Angkor Photo Festival Workshops, a Visual Journalism graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, and a fellow of the Konrad Adanauer Stiftung Media Programme Asia.    His work gravitates towards questioning the histories written by colonizers and victors. This is most evident in his ongoing long-term project on Filipino-Muslim youth and their relationship with militancy in Mindanao, southern Philippines.    Martin regularly contributes to The Washington Post and VICE News on notable Philippine issues – the Drug War, COVID-19 pandemic, and the environment. Nonprofits such as International Committee of the Red Cross and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees regularly commission him for missions in Mindanao.    Martin is a co-founder of Campus Journalism Lab. I am an award-winning Tagalog filmmaker and journalist. I was a Fulbright Scholar who holds a Master’s degree in documentary filmmaking from New York University where I was also a recipient of the NYU GSAS Scholarship. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. I directed, wrote and produced two films: Cuchera and Nuwebe, which have been screened in over 60 international film festivals including Toronto, Stockholm, Fribourg, Cleveland, Belgrade, Montreal, Vancouver, Geneva and Goteborg. Aside from my work in film, I also contribute to TV, print and online media. Last November, I produced a documentary for Get Real of Channel News Asia. I have also contributed articles and video work to The New York Times, GMA Network and Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism. I won as Best Director at the 2015 ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards and Grand Prize at the 2014 UNICEF Child Rights Awards.

Geela (b. 1998) is a freelance visual journalist, writer, and peasant advocate based in Manila, Philippines. Her photography, which explores stories on women, food sovereignty, the environment, and culture, aims to document and write history from the experience of its makers. Veejay started out as a staff photographer for the national news magazine the Philippines Graphic before venturing into freelancing. He also worked with several international news wire agencies before concentrating on his documentary projects in Asia. He is the the recipient of the 2008 Ian Parry Scholarship grant with his project on the lives of former gang members in Manila which also garnered him a residency at the Visa Pour l'image photojournalism festival hosted by Crossing Point residency program on the same year. He was also the first Filipino to be selected in the 2013 Joop Swart Masterclass program. George Buid is a freelance photographer and journalist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. He is a self-taught photographer who started his career in photojournalism and visual documentary storytelling in 2014. Christine Chung is a Korean Filipino freelance photographer based in the Philippines. She is interested in exploring internal life through imagery. In 2012 and 2014, she was awarded a scholarship grant and was mentored by Kevin WY Lee in the Invisible Photographer Asia Online Mentorship Program. Here she produced 'A Portrait of Us.' In 2015, she was mentored by documentary photographer Alex Baluyut in the Masterclass in Documentary Photography Edition 10. In the same year, she attended the Angkor Photo Festival Workshop where she was mentored by Magnum members-photographers Sohrab Hura and Antoine d'Agata. I am a photographer associated with the online Mindanao-based news agency MindaNews. I am currently a communications assistant for the Untied Nations International Labour Organization in Manila. I have managed a World Press Photo-funded network of multimedia journalists (Panglantaw Mindanao, under the auspices of the Konrad Adenauer Center for Journalism) who were tasked to produce multimedia stories about Mindanao. During my tenure I also contributed my own multimedia stories.
