ablo Benjamín Nieto Mercado (Mexico City, 1979) is an engineer and multimedia producer with a remarkable career that merges technology and creativity. His experience in the technological field includes roles as Project Leader and Consultant in Electronic Payment Methods at companies such as Punto Clave - EDENRED, Optima Technology, and SwitchGATE. With expertise in the design of transactional and bank correspondent architectures, he has led key projects such as the management system for gasoline voucher cards and the development of the ISO 8583 Switch and Transactional Core for Edenred, strategically connecting banks with retail stores.
In the cinematic and cultural sphere, Pablo has stood out with a wide range of audiovisual and experimental productions. His work encompasses twenty albums, fourteen installations, thirty short films, and the feature film "The Basin of the Stone Rivers," with which he participated in Bolivia Lab 2016, winning the Pitch Award for Latin American Projects. In 2021, WebDoc ATL participated in the interactive exhibition "The Castle" at Arthousehaus in London and the DigitalKunst Festival in Stuttgart, Germany. Additionally, his short film "Invasion" was presented at the Cinema di Cefalù Festival, FilmÓptico, Music Maker Festival, Miradas Locales, Mexican Cinema Day, and the collective exhibition "Conceiving, Naming, Saying" at the Centro de la Imagen.
