Peter G. Forest is the owner of Forest Photography, LLC that was founded in January 2013. The LaPlace, Louisiana native has very recently joined the Storyhunter team and is a contract photographer who has been working throughout the south Louisiana Regional area since 2008. Forest photographs a wide variety of subjects ranging from aerial, construction, disaster aftermath, documentation, music events, sports and news media coverage. He has previously worked as a freelance photographer for The Times-Picayune newspaper since 2010. Prior to working in photography, Forest was the media relations’ director in the athletic departments of Alabama State, Alcorn State and Grambling State Universities. He is a 1991 graduate of Southern University-Baton Rouge who received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies (Broadcasting). Forest has worked a freelance writer for the Associated Press in which he covered college basketball games in the Dallas-Fort Worth area during the 1997-98 season. He was a former member of various national organizations such as the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Football Writers Association of America, Louisiana Sportswriters Association, College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Black College Sports Information Directors Association (BCoSIDA).

Jihan Hafiz is an Egyptian, Samoan born in California and raised between Cairo and Washington, D.C. Her life’s work as a filmmaker and journalist span world events from the Egyptian Revolution, wars in Libya and Palestine, borders and immigration, to Indigenous and Black uprisings across the United States and Latin America, elections and womens rights. She’s won multiple awards for her work in visual storytelling, including an Emmy (2013), the NABJ award (2015), two Bronze Telly Awards, Indigenous Music Awards Best Music video and nominated for the Rory Peck and Livingston Awards. Her films have screened at film festivals across the world and aired on international and national networks. Over the past decade, Jihan has worked as a television reporter, international news anchor, film and news producer, director, cinematographer, on-air talent, field reporter, investigator, and content creator. She works as both a one-woman-band and with major crews of up to 50 crew members, in some cases assisting production crews with moving film equipment and members across international borders. Jihan is a proud member and founder of GenderWars – an internationals women’s collective dedicated to participating in self-defense against deadly sexual assault. Once upon a time based in Cairo, Brussels, Madrid, Havana and Salvador da Bahia, Jihan is a journalism mentor, former dance professor, and trilingual in Arabic, English and Portuguese. She is currently based out of New Orleans in the bayou state of Louisiana.

Lily is a filmmaker and educator based in New Orleans. Her directorial debut, Bayou Maharajah, premiered at SXSW in 2013 and has since won many awards including the Oxford American Award for Best Southern Film and Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities’ Documentary Of The Year. She has produced for Arcade Fire, Beyoncé, and Preservation Hall. Her films have covered the Department of Homeland Security's policy of family detention, prison conditions in Gaza and the deteriorating environment of the Gulf Coast. Lily is a co-founder of New Orleans Video Voices, a women-led collective dedicated to increasing media literacy across the Gulf South. In 2015, she was commissioned by Time Inc. and Field Office Films (producer of Beasts Of The Southern Wild) to contribute to their coverage of Hurricane Katrina’s 10-year anniversary. The resulting film, Everything Is To Be Continued, exposes how Black working musicians have been excluded from New Orleans’ economic recovery. Lily’s second feature documentary Buckjumping premiered in October 2018 to the largest audience ever assembled at the New Orleans Film Festival. Her work has appeared on ARTE, HBO, MTV News, Time, Al-Jazeera English, Democracy Now!, Sundance DocClub, Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, Electronic Intifada and PBS. Lily is a member of the Grammys, Film Fatales New Orleans, a former board member of WIFT-Louisiana and of the Patois Human Rights Film Festival. She is on the Community Advisory Board of WWOZ and is a member of Alternate ROOTS. Lily a founding member of the All-Yall Film Collective of Southern filmmakers.

While living in Chicago during the early 2000's Declan started field-producing episodic documentaries for WTTW, the Travel Channel, and FOX, then shot two successful auto racing docs, FOUR BANGERS and TRAILER RACER. in 2003 he completed ULBERT, an award-winning documentary on bipolar disorder. In 2012 Declan produced and shot New Orleans Documentary SHELL SHOCKED, where he now lives. He has since been producer for Jack Newell's OPEN TABLES and 42 GRAMS.
