RESUME Emidio Jozine, born in 1982 in Mozambique, Maputo. In 2004 he concluded the Visual Art School as a graphic designer and opened he’s own atelier. In 2008 he won the national prize of photography for new talents organized by the Mozambican Association of Photography, and ended with his first solo exhibition. In 2008/10 Co-Founder of the newspaper Mercados-Economia e Negócios(electronic), freelancer at Zambezi (newspaper). Jozine also was a Co-coordinator for the project Arte e Comunidade in Maciene Mozambique. Had several partnerships with artists and choreographers then he did a second Photo exhibition for the festival of contemporary dance Kinani. 2008 join the OneMinute Workshop and then become facilitator after the training in Amsterdam at the One Minute Foundation. In 2010 he was invited to direct the film “Waiting in the backyard” in Brazil, the movie won three prizes, best director, best producer and best film documentary at the ”Festival Ver e Fazer filmes”.

I am a journalist with around 15 years in the field. I have experience in editing journalistic texts, producing content for Radio and Television and I have worked as a Fixer for Aljazeera, AFP, TRTWORLD. I currently work as a journalist for Rádio Moçambique, a public company, and work as a correspondent for DW and AFP.

Mauro was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1986. When he was 4 years old he moved to Portugal where he lived, studied and worked till 2014. He attended the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technology (Lisbon, Portugal) where he studied “Cinema, Video and Multimedia Communication”. Mauro also attended the professional education courses on Photographic Technique and Composition, lectured by the Portuguese Institute of Photography, and holds a Vocational Trainer Certificate (Employment and Vocational Training Institute). His professional experience and competences in the field of audiovisual services provision, covers shooting, directing and film editing for Television, Advertising and Corporate productions. Since the beginning of 2014 he lived in Angola where he works as film director freelancer. Currently Mauro is woking and living in Lisbon, Portugal.

As a Director of Photography and Filmmaker, I’ve led climate change film productions for the UK Embassy in Mozambique and managed the Temane Regional Electricity Transmission Project (TREP). I’ve worked with UNDP on films about social justice, inclusion, and gender, and with FAO on food security initiatives. I produced films for WaterAid’s “Eu Corro pela Água” event and documented marine life for Golder Associates, covering the impacts of the Port of Nacala on whales and dolphins. My work includes Mozambique’s 2018 voting campaign, community radio broadcasts, and projects for Be Girl, Wutive University, and major social organizations like WWF and Aga Khan. I’m also part of Getty Images, contributing visuals from Mozambique for global campaigns, and have documented a tourism expedition from Mozambique to Namibia.
