Camila Rizzo is an award-winning director and editor. She has more than 15 awards with films and commercials. Her projects has been selected for more the 30 film festivals around the world, including Academy Awards (Oscars) qualifying film festivals. Rizzo has more than 13 years background in television. Previously, she worked in Rede Globo for over 5 years, a Brazilian network and one of the biggest in the world, where she had the opportunity to work in the coverage of the Olympic Games (2016), of the World Cup (2014), and in TV shows that were nominee and won the International Emmy Awards. She has directed and edited commercials for big brands as Disney, Coca-Cola, Shell, Herbalife among others. Julia Lemos Lima is a self-shooting documentary producer and director, founder of Spread The Word Films, a production company specialising in non-fictional films about women’s issues. Rodrigo Séllos is a self-shooting director and editor, founder of Caos e Cinema, a production company based in Rio de Janeiro. The film was also part of the official selection of the 37th Vancouver International Film Festival and Bogotá Short Film Festival. As editor, Rodrigo worked on five feature films, including "Street Kids United II - The Girls from Rio" - produced by Stephen Daldry and Mike Downey; "Memórias do Grupo Opinião” - opening movie for the 24th It's All True Film Festival, and the fiction “The Crazy and the Angelical” - released in brazilian theaters.  Séllos also directed and edited four music videos, and produced the documentaries exhibited at International Festival del Nuevo Cine Latino Americano (Cuba), China International New Media Short Film Festival and Festival de Cine de Lanzarote, in Spain. In 2015, Séllos directed and shooted the documental webseries “Growing with Down Syndrome” exhibited at UN on International Down Syndrome Day, with over one million views on Movimento Down's Facebook. Rodrigo is currently developing his first fictional feature film called “Macuxi”, which has won Brazilian state funding for its development.

I am a journalist since 2004 and a History graduation student since 2016. In 2004, at the age of 18, I co-founded a newspaper called O Aporema, at the Journalism School at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in south of Brazil. Highlight for the coverage of the editions of the World Social Forum. Also during this period, I installed community radios in different parts of Porto Alegre. From 2006 to 2008, I was a reporter and producer for BandNewsFM, Rádio Bandeirantes AM and Rádio da Universidade da UFRGS, with an emphasis on reporting on city, politics and sport in Rio Grande do Sul. From 2008 to 2013, I worked at TV Globo, the biggest brazillian broadcaster, as editor and producer. At SporTV, my most interesting project was the series "Brasil Fora de Série", which went through almost all states in the country to show the culture of football as a fundamental identity character of Brazilians. In 2013, after the popular riots, I resigned from Globo in disagreement with the editorial line of the station, attacking the protesters and the political project chosen by the population at the federal level. From 2014, as a freelancer, I participated in activist journalism movements, such as Mídia Ninja and Free Journalists. I developed a project for long reports, called Jornalismo em Pé, in defense of dignity and human rights. Still as a freelancer, I have worked for 6 years for the Brazilian Paralympic Committee and for the International Paralympic Committee - highlighting the coverage of the Rio 2016 Paralympics. About politics, Rio de Janeiro and History, I wrote reports for sites like UOL, Punteiro Izquierdo, Sul21, The Intercept Brasil, Magazine of the Movement of the Homeless Workers and Greenpeace. I participated in coverage such as the Mariana dam disaster, the impeachment of Dilma Roussef in Brasília and the police violence in Rio. As a sports journalist, I was a producer, screenwriter and editor of TV and Internet series. In 2014, I scripted and edited the series Nem Tudo É Grenal, about Football History in Rio Grande do Sul. In 2019, I produced and edited a series In Search of America for Sport Club Internacional, which contains a history of football in cities where the club dispute the 2019 Libertadores de América. Recently, I have been developing videos on Virtual Reality technology, for immersive glasses in 360 degrees. I have already produced a video for Internacional and another for Flamengo's official stores - in this case, about the club's historic 2019 season, with the titles of the Brazilian National Championships and Libertadores. Since 2016, I have graduated in History at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with special interest in the history of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.

I am a Brazilian documentarist based in both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, having lived abroad in Belgium, India, Mexico and the US, thus being street smart and world wise. I also speak fluently English, French and Spanish (and a little bit of hindi). And some of my interests are social sciences, anthropology, ethnography, arts and psychoanalysis. Most of my work has to do with cultural identities, traditions, versions of facts and of history, personal narratives and memory. To story hunt is what I like to do. And I am glad that I can apply to do so in this network. Internet has proven to be generous for those who convey powerful and empowering narratives. It is a sort of comeback of old school investigative journalism, with a touch of cinematic experience in a completely new way to consume and share information. Regarding my freelance experience, since I graduated from Film School* back in 2008, I have worked as assistant director in fiction for both TV and cinema. However, by 2012 I succeeded on migrating to documentary entirely. I mainly freelance as story producer and assistant director, but also as fixer and as a director, working for several companies in Brazil, such as Pindorama Filmes, Segunda-Feira Filmes, Gávea Filmes, República Pureza, CineGroup and Agência Click Isobar. I’d also worked for a French company once, L’Oeil Sauvage. C’était super! In a daily basis I am frequently asked to find stories and characters for Brazilian series like “What Tree Is That?”, “Big Cities”, “The Power of Sport”, “The Fountain of Youth” and “Help! My Children eat badly”. And also to bring up storylines and develop projects out from rough ideas and materials. Most directors I work with treasure my research abilities, creative skills and understanding of storytelling. I consider myself being very perceptive, making me a good listener and interviewer.
